# Create a page or website with AI

Describe your goal, choose a language and build one page or review a multi-page plan before building a full website.

## What this is for

Use the creation prompt to turn a business goal into an editable draft. **One page** starts a single-page build. **Full website** first proposes pages for you to review. The `/sites/new` entry opens the same creation screen in **Sites**.

## Before you start

- Sites must be enabled for your workspace. If **Sites** is missing from the menu, it isn't enabled there yet.
- You need more than viewer access to create.
- Prepare the audience, offer, real business facts and action you want visitors to take. AI output still needs your review.
- For a single page, have any photos ready. In the real-estate edition, you may connect an available property.

## Create one page

1. Open **Sites**. The heading **What will we build today?** appears above the prompt.
2. Under **What to create**, choose **One page**.
3. In **Describe your page**, explain who it is for, what you offer and the intended action. An example suggestion fills the prompt; edit it to match your business. Very short descriptions trigger **Describe in a few words what the page should do** rather than starting a build.
4. Optionally choose **Add photos**. Attached thumbnails appear; use **Remove photo** to remove an attachment. Up to 12 photos can be attached.
5. Optionally use **Connect to campaign**. Selected campaigns appear as removable connections; up to 50 can be selected. In the real-estate edition, **Connect property** lets you search and choose a property.
6. Choose **Page language**. Presets include **עברית**, **English**, **Русский** and **العربية**. **Other…** accepts a language code such as `fr` or `pt-BR`.
7. Click **Create**. On first use, read **Before creating your first page**, select **I accept responsibility for the pages I publish**, then **Accept**. Complete creation after acceptance.
8. The studio opens and shows build progress. Wait for the page to be ready, then check its headline, images, factual claims, buttons and form. It is still a draft: follow [review and publish](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/sites/review-and-publish/) to make it public.

## Create a full website

1. In **Sites**, choose **Full website** under **What to create**.
2. Fill **Describe your website** with the business and pages you need. Choose **Page language** and optional campaign/property connections.
3. Click **Plan the website** and accept the first-use responsibility notice if asked. Photos are not used for a full website build; add them later in the editor.
4. In **Your website pages**, review each **Page name**, **Address** and **What is this page for?**. Change the plan before building.
5. Use **Add a page** or remove unnecessary pages. The plan allows up to 12 pages. The **Home page** cannot be removed.
6. Select **Show in the menu** only for pages that belong in navigation. The menu can show up to 8 pages; an unchecked page remains editable. Addresses use lowercase English letters, digits and hyphens and must be unique.
7. Review **Starter articles** if proposed. They are built as drafts, not published; remove unwanted ones.
8. Click **Build the website**. The progress list shows each page as **Waiting**, **Queued**, **Writing…**, **Ready** or **Failed**. Open ready pages to inspect them; use **Try again** on a failed page.
9. When **Your website pages are ready to review** appears, review all pages and shared header/footer before publishing. **Build one page instead** is available from the plan if you decide against a full website.

## If something goes wrong

| Symptom | Explanation and recovery |
|---|---|
| Photo upload failed | Resolve the upload error and retry; do not assume the photo reached the build. |
| Property no longer available | The page is not connected to that property. Choose another available property. |
| Campaign links could not be saved | Retry the connection later; a site may already have been created. |
| Website planning failed | The site is saved. Choose **Retry planning** or **Open in editor**, rather than creating another site unnecessarily. |
| Build could not start | Stay on the plan and try **Build the website** again. |
| A page has not been built yet | In its AI panel, describe the page and choose **Build the page**. |
| AI allowance exhausted | Follow the displayed limit notice; the daily allowance renews tomorrow. No fixed allowance is promised here. |
