# Find your way around the app

Tour the desktop sidebar, phone navigation, main work areas, account menu and workspace switcher.

## Before you start

Finish the setup required for your membership and open the app in the intended workspace. The workspace name in the switcher tells you where you are working. This tour explains navigation; it does not publish content or change your plan.

To start the interactive version, open the question-mark help panel on **Assistant**, select the app-tour video for your edition, and choose **Show me**. The video closes and guidance points at the real navigation controls. Follow the tour prompts yourself; it does not click or submit for you. The steps below also work as a written tour without a video.

## Take the tour

1. Open **Assistant**. Although its address ends in `/dashboard`, this is the assistant conversation, not a separate analytics dashboard. The main area shows the current page; the header names the section.
1. On a desktop, use the sidebar to choose a work area. The selected entry is highlighted and the main area changes to that page. In Nadlanite, **Properties** replaces **Campaigns**.
1. On a phone, use the bottom navigation: **Assistant**, **Campaigns** or **Properties**, the central plus button, **Calendar**, and **More**. The plus opens creation. **More** opens the remaining sections and the workspace switcher. The bar steps aside during creation and while typing in chat.
1. Open the account avatar in the header. **My profile** opens personal details; **My billing** opens bills and seats you pay for across workspaces. The menu also contains sign-out. On smaller screens, language and theme controls are here too.
1. Open **Switch workspace** in the desktop sidebar or phone's **More** panel. The current workspace is marked. Choose another membership only when you want to work in that workspace; each has its own role and data.
1. Use the notifications bell for updates and the round question-mark control for guidance. Read [Help and videos](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/getting-started/help/) for its current options.

## Availability and safe navigation

If you don't see **Sites**, **Video Studio** or **Earn** in the menu, it isn't enabled for your workspace yet. A page being visible does not mean every action on it is permitted for your role or seat. Opening navigation entries does not itself start a campaign or spend an advertising budget.

## If something goes wrong

- Can't find the sidebar on your phone: use **More** in the bottom bar.
- Theme or language buttons are missing from the header: open **Account** on smaller screens.
- The content or role seems wrong: check the workspace name before editing anything.
- A seat notice blocks progress: read the notice and [billing overview](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/billing/overview/), rather than making a duplicate workspace.
