# Edit, pause or archive a campaign

Change campaign and post details, pause or resume sending, and understand what archiving and deleting do not remove from social networks.

Canonical: https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/manage-campaign/

## Before you start

Open the correct campaign or property and check its name. Campaign controls, individual post controls and paid-ad controls have different effects. Only use actions available to your account.

> **Important:** The current general campaign menu offers archiving, not a permanent delete-campaign or a separate Stop button. Archiving is not deletion of published social posts.

## Edit campaign details

1. Open the [campaign board](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/campaign-board/).
1. Open **Summary** or expand it with **Expand the summary**.
1. Use **Edit name**, enter **Name** and press **Save**. A name is required.
1. Adjust **Urgency** if you need to change relative priority. Review **Goal** and **Leads go to** rather than assuming the author receives every lead.
1. In Nadlanite, use **Edit property details** for structured property fields. See [property details](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/property-details/).

### Change a fact used by several posts

In **Key facts**, choose the relevant edit control, enter the value and **Save**. The board explains **Updating the posts… their sends are paused until it's done.** Check the result: a failed update can leave affected posts paused. **Undo** can reverse the fact change when offered. Property-linked fields direct you to the property details instead.

## Edit or delete a post

1. Click its card to open **Edit post**.
1. Change text or media. Use **Networks and schedule** to review destinations and timing, or **Add a network** where shown.
1. Press **Save**. If asked **Also update …?**, choose **Yes, on all networks** or the option for this network only.
1. Review any new approval/attention state. The post's previous approval does not authorize arbitrary later changes.
1. To stop future sends for the post, choose **Delete**. In **Delete post**, choose the single-network option or **Delete from all networks**, or **Cancel**.

**Changes apply to future sends only. Posts that were already published stay as they are.** Deleting a post here also stops future sends only; it does not remove its already-published copies from social networks.

## Publish saved drafts from the board

If **Publish campaign** with a post count is offered in **Summary**, open it and read **Publish this campaign?**. The confirmation states how many posts will start on their schedules. Check the warnings about posts without a network and posts that message people.

Choose **Publish** only after reviewing the eligible drafts. WhatsApp/email posts are published from the post itself, and posts without networks cannot be published. Check marked cards if some were held back. This bulk draft approval is different from **Resume all**, which resumes paused cards.

## Pause and resume

1. From the campaign menu or **Summary**, choose **Pause all** to pause its post cards.
1. For a smaller scope, use **Pause** on one card or **Pause set** inside a set.
1. To continue, use **Resume all**, **Resume** or **Resume set** at the matching scope.
1. If **You missed posts** appears, choose **Send one now** or **Continue from the next time**.
1. For newly AI-created content, first review all posts and videos, then **Resume all**. This is the action that starts the reviewed paused content.

## Archive, restore and Marketplace deletion

1. Choose **Move to archive** in the campaign menu or summary.
1. Read the confirmation and confirm **Move to archive**. Unsent posts stop; published posts stay online.
1. Pause paid ads separately if you intend to stop spending. The archive confirmation explicitly says paid ads keep running and spending.
1. To return an archived campaign, find it under the archived section and choose **Restore from archive**, then **Restore**. Its posts return paused; review them before **Resume all**.

If **Delete Marketplace listing** is offered, that is a separate action affecting Facebook. Its confirmation **Delete listing** removes the listing from Facebook and cannot be undone. Do not confuse it with archiving the campaign.

## If something goes wrong

- **Enter a name.**: supply a non-empty name and save again.
- **This post changed after you opened it. Your edits are still here — nothing was lost.**: decide what to keep before **Load the latest version**; loading replaces your edits.
- **Updating this post failed, so it stays paused.**: use **Try the update again**, or carefully review **Keep the old text**. Keeping the old text resumes sending without the requested change.
- **This ad set has paid ads. Delete or end them first.**: resolve its paid ads before attempting the blocked set action.
- **That didn't work. Try again.**: inspect the current state before retrying; do not assume a failed action changed it.
