# Ask for a video guide in chat

Describe what you want to learn and get a matching recorded guide with written steps in the assistant conversation.

## What this is for

Ask the assistant for help with a product task, such as finding the setting for your workspace time zone. It can search the available guide catalog from your description and send a matching recording with written instructions.

The assistant matches guide titles and summaries; it does not need to watch the recording to find a guide. A guide is instruction for you, not a claim that the assistant has carried out the task.

## Before you start

Use the workspace and interface language you intend to work in. Describe the actual task rather than asking only for “a video.” Recordings are available for cataloged topics, not every possible screen or problem.

You do not need to know a guide ID or an internal file name. Ordinary language is enough.

## Find and play a guide

1. Open **Assistant**.
2. Ask for the topic you need, for example: “Show me the video about changing the workspace time zone.” This is a sample request, not a required command.
3. If the assistant asks which task you mean, specify it. For example, distinguish workspace time zone from changing the interface language.
4. When a matching guide is sent, read its title and written steps in the conversation.
5. Select **Play guide** on the preview to open the video player. Use the player controls to play or pause while following the instructions.
6. Carry out the steps in the relevant app screen, then verify the setting or result there.

The guide card contains its own written steps. You can follow them without playing the whole video. Starting playback does not press the buttons in your workspace for you.

## Language and edition notes

The guide search uses your request in your own language. If the recording was made in the other edition, the card displays a note explaining that some screens may look different. Follow your current app's labels and permissions rather than assuming every detail of a recording is identical.

LeadKnight and Nadlanite share many workflows, but this note is not a promise that every edition-specific feature exists in both.

## Guides in WhatsApp

When chatting with the assistant in WhatsApp, a matching guide is delivered as a link with written steps. Where the richer delivery is unavailable, the assistant can provide the link and steps as text. Do not expect the embedded web guide card to appear inside WhatsApp in the same layout.

Open the provided link to view the recording. It is help content, not a publishing approval or a connection code.

## If something goes wrong

- No guide is found: describe a more specific task or ask for written help. Not every product action has a recording; a missing result must not be treated as a hidden video that always exists.
- The wrong topic appears: state the difference and ask for a guide for the correct task.
- The recording looks different from your screen: check the other-edition note, the interface language and whether the feature is enabled in the workspace.
- Playback does not start automatically: use the video's play control. You can still read the written steps.
- The task needs permission or a connected account: the video does not grant either. Complete the required setup in the app before repeating the relevant step.
